1x 580ml Vulcan Apricots in Riesling Syrup

This is our limited edition of Augustines Vulcan Apricots in Riesling Syrup, sourced directly from our original grower in Cromwell. We consider ourselves fortunate to access this unique, spray-free variety. Especially given the challenges many growers face in achieving a significant volume of this variety.

Gus's personal favourites, these apricots are hand-preserved by Gus himself in a Central Otago Riesling syrup.

1x 580ml Rhubarb in Rose

Our Gold Medal Award-winning Rhubarb in Rosé is not too sweet and not too tart, picked locally from various spray-free patches including Gus’s parents house on the Otago Peninsula.

It is then cooked to perfection in a (perfect match) rosé wine syrup. This Rhubarb is sure to up your brunch or dessert game! Break it out in a crumble when the mother-in-law comes over for dinner or enjoy it with pancakes on a Sunday morning.

1x 580ml Sundrop Apricots in Riesling Syrup

Dubbed as “A little piece of Central Otago in a jar”, our pioneering product is still a firm favourite and an attractive pantry staple. Tree-ripened at Moorpark & Mulberry Orchard in Cromwell, then hand preserved by Gus in a Central Otago Riesling syrup.

Augustines Apricots won a gold medal at the Outstanding New Zealand Food Producer Awards & were finalists in the Cuisine Artisan section at the New Zealand Food Awards.

1x 580ml Plums in Pinot Noir

Our Augustines Black Doris Plums in Pinot Noir won the Earth category at the 2021 Outstanding NZ Food Producer Awards. The judges loved the simplicity of ingredients and described Black Doris plums in pinot noir syrup as having “a lovely story of terroir’’.

Our Black Doris plums are carefully grown by Mike at Moorpark & Mulberry Orchard in Cromwell. These black beauties are then hand preserved by Gus in a Pinot Noir syrup, using wine from Penkridge Farm Wines - Central Otago.

1x 580ml Feijoas in Pinot Gris

Feijoas are sourced from small independent growers and matched with Pinot Gris from Penkridge Farm Wines. Each jar is hand preserved by Gus using traditional methods.
